That is correct, I am not able to drag and drop. Nothing seems to work.

Are you unable to do the drag-and-drop needed? I've forgotten the drill
and tried to get it to jump to the submap by clicking and that doesn't
work. Click on it with mouse button two and drag away. Then fill in the
properties menu.

Hello Lists
NV 7.1.3 On Solaris 8

I am trying to create location containers in a submap and it will not
let
me select a symbol sublcass
>From the Netview native console IP Internet Level I select
Edit>Add>Object Select the Location Symbol Class Try to Select Site or
any other Subclass and the subclass does not
highlight or show any indication that it is selectable.

I am trying this from a read/write map and I am stumped.

There are entries in the Location.conf file that are represented on the
map but I am not able to create a new one from the gui
Any help is greatly appreciated...

Regards,

Mike Noonkesser
