Well, there is a definition for Unsigned32 in the standard SNMPv2-SMI mib,
RFC 2578, and if you concatenate the mib you are working with to that, the
resulting file should work fine. Or you could use the cisco-tc-v1smi.mib
we ship in /usr/OV/snmp_mibs in the same way. Or you could just edit the
problem MIB and add this
      Unsigned32 ::= Gauge32
near the beginning.

Hi ,

I'm running Netview 7.1.3 Fixpack 3 on Unix and have trouble running
mib2trap on some mibs. The error message is

Textual convention doesn't map to real type.(Unsigned32):

According to the imports list it is included in SNMPv2-SMI mib but it
doesn't appear to be there. Perhaps my version of compiler doesn't support
this. Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem without upgrading
compilers.

Thanks in advance,
Sue
