[nv-l] Propagating Node status on TRAPS

NV 7.1.4 FP04
Windows 2003 SP1

We have a Cisco router configured to
forward traps to Netview server whenever the Serial Link goes down! . The
Netview is receiving traps successfully but on the IP MAP the Interface
status  does not reflect the TRAP i.e When a 'link down' trap is received
on Netview the Interface status stays 'GREEN'. It is only updated on the
scheduled SNMP Poll. What else needs to be done on the Netview part to
make it reflect the change on the 'IP MAP' level!
