NetView sets the icon (symbol) only once, at discovery time. So if you had
the wrong icon given in oid_to_symbol and oid_to_type, then after you have
upgraded those files, you will have to delete and re-discover the devices
which you want to have new symbols used on the NetView map.

Hi List,

I have integrated Netview 7.1.4 with cisco works...during the initial
integration with Cisco view, cisco view didnt have the icons for few cisco
router family like 1800 series and 2800 series for which we had to upgrade
the cisco works... after the upgrade we are able see these set of routers
correctly from the cisco view but not on the netview topology map. i.e
these icons not apperaing there.

We even run the netview cisco works integration after the upgrade but with
no success.

Any suggestions pls

Thanks in advance

Ajith
