Bingo!

That did the trick, I was able to load my mib without any issues.

Thanx James.

The SNMPv1/SNMPv2 loader does not have a menu option in 7.1.3. You have to invoke it from the command line. It's xnmloadmib2 in UNIX and loadmibv2 in Windows.

[NV-L] Loading Mibs

Hello-

I'm running version 7.1.3, and I'm attempting to load a mib, and I having a problem with 'MODULE-IDENTITY' which I think is a characteristic of snmpv2 and not snmpv1 (please correct me if I'm incorrect). Though the book states that I should see snmpv1/snmpv2, I only have Load/Unload 'SNMPV1 MIBs' available on my Load/Unload Mib option on the menu.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Mikemillion
