Has anybody made the leap to NETCOOL PRECISION IP ?

I am looking for user input as to how the product compares to Netview.

Does the Layer2 discovery work?
Does it really understand the VLAN layout?
Can it do all the trap things that Netview can?
Is it overkill?

In the end is it worth it?

I know Netview is going away sooner or later. So should I, or when do I, make the quantum leap.

I also have to convince other people here at Princeton that the product will do everything Netview does now, and specifically can it do the layer-2 discovery correctly.

Thanks for any input.

PS; If there is a better list to write to, please let me know.
