Yeh, been fighting with the application owner as I'm getting flooded with events to change the trap destination, but they are being difficult.

Thanx.

If you change the trap destination for the offending host or turn off trap forwarding on the offending host, then that should fix your issue, unless you want some traps to come through and not others (for that host)?  J

Subject: [NV-L] Ignore events from a specific host

Good morning-

Just a quick question.  Is there anyway to tell the netview server to ignore/drop events from a specific ip/host?  Well, without removing him from the database and map.  But then wouldn't the Netview server receive traps and just say that the trap is unknown?

Thanx.

Mikemillion
