I should have also added that NetView has been replaced by IBM Tivoli Network Manager (ITNM) which is already SNMPv3 capable. The latest version (3.8) also supports IPv6.
NetView is at end of life and has been so since 2007. There will be no new releases, only FixPacks for APARs until it goes out of Support at the end of the first quarter of 2012. NetView does not have any support for SNMPv3. However you can purchase and additional product from SNMP Research, their Distributed SNMP Security Pack. Hi, is there currently any SNMPv3 support included in netview 7.1.5 ?
