Kevin,
Extra info: OK I have rw access to /usr/OV/lrf/netmon.lrf but not to /usr/OV/conf/ovsuf. In fact both NetView servers show only read access to this file. Any idea why the RO access? # ls -al o* \-rw-r--r-- 1 root system 111 Sep 23 2003 oid_to_command -rw-r--r-- 1 root system 4650 Feb 21 2007 oid_to_label -rw-r--r-- 1 root system 3141 Feb 21 2007 oid_to_protocol -rw-r--r-- 1 root system 102617 Feb 21 2007 oid_to_type -rw-rw-r-- 1 bin bin 383 Sep 29 2006 oldhayes.modem -rw-rw-rw- 1 root system 0 Jul 29 2008 ovevent.db -rw-r--r-- 1 root system 1005 Sep 23 2003 ovevent.dest -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 755 Feb 21 2007 ovors -rw-r--r-- 1 root system 91035 Apr 16 10:19 ovsnmp.conf -r--r--r-- 1 bin bin 5851 Dec 12 11:36 ovsuf Thank you, Kevin Sperry From: nv-l-bounces@lists.ca.ibm.com [mailto:nv-l-bounces@lists.ca.ibm.com] On Behalf Of Sperry, Kevin Sent: Friday, May 01, 2009 1:56 PM To: Tivoli NetView Discussions Subject: RE: [NV-L] Unable to register /usr/OV/lrf/netmon.lrf Hi Francois, I am running this command from the server setup GUI and my map is read-write. Does this not give me write access to these files? How can I ensure that RFI is ON? Hello, We are using NetView 7.1.5 w/ AIX. When attempting to turn on RFI in probabilistic mode using server setup from GUI, I receive the following… Command: Output: Working... Operation has completed I don't think this error message has much to do with RFI. Can you enlighten me on this error message? Thank you kindly,
