Map status of 'Managed' or 'Unmanaged' is not something you can set. It only
applies to the open map, and therefore
is only allowed to be done manually. Same with Ack. The other status settings,
which apply to objects with a
status source of object, can be set using the status trap, netview event #
58916871. For example,

/usr/OV/bin/snmptrap \
  $HOSTNAME .1.3.6.1.4.1.2.6.3.1 \
  $HOSTNAME 6 58916871 1 \
  .1.2.6.1.4.1.2.6.3.1.1.2.0 Integer 14 \
  .1.2.6.1.4.1.2.6.3.1.1.2.0 OctetString $SELECTION_NAME \
.1.2.6.1.4.1.2.6.3.1.1.2.0 OctetString "Object status is" \
  .1.2.6.1.4.1.2.6.3.1.1.2.0 OctetString $STATUS

where $HOSTNAME is the sender, $SELECTION_NAME is whose status to change
(eg dns name) and $STATUS is Up, Down, etc.
This overrides netmon, so should use File..Describe Map to stop ipmap from
setting it back.
