Hi John, Sorry the "fix" didn't quite give what you want! Do you have the "Red Book" SG24-4867 "TME 10 Cookbook for AIX Systems Management and Networking Applications" (you can view it on the web if you don't have it). It has a section in Chapter 12 that shows customising a sysmon trap to be sent to TEC - it's a question of finding the TRAP variable that you want from the NetView event log and then parsing that into the TEC adapter slot - if the NetView trap cannot resolve IP address to name and ONLY has address on it, then the fix needs to be to setup DNS (or /etc/hosts at a pinch) to ensure the address gets resolved to a name in NetView first.
