There is a mib2trap executable in NetView V5 which will create an addtrap
script from a MIB containing trap definitions, but there is nothing like
that in NetView Version 4.

Subject: Compiling traps

Hi,

When I have a trap definition file from a vendor, I remember running a
certain script on Netview to compile it in trapd.conf (NV4 for AIX 4.2).
Can anyone tell me the command for compiling a trap file as opposed to
the "addtrap" command?

Thanks in advance.
