Then, is it correct to say that Optivity NMS 8.1 will not run on AIX 4.3?

Optivity NMS 9.0, which has a currently scheduled release date of January
'99 for the Solaris and NT version, will support NetView 5.1. The AIX
version will most likely lag behind this release date by 1-3 months -
primarily because our development tool vendors have not qualified with AIX
4.3 many of the development tools needed to complete the project. (For
example, ObjectStore and RogueWave do not officially support an AIX 4.3
build environment according to their web site and technical support center)
