All the daemons are up and running.
There is a message in the netmon.trace files that states:
Warnings from /usr/OV/bin/nmcheckconf configuration check script
I've looked at nmcheckconf, there is only read permissions for user,
group and other, like it states in the beginning of the file.
Right now everything I do from within the user interface is very very
slow.

Do ovstatus | more and see what other daemons are not running. It is
most likely that netmon cannot start because one of his predecessors is
not
up yet. If the others are up, then go to /usr/OV/log/netmon.trace and
see if you can find a clue in there.

Subject: Netmon
I'm running NetView for AIX 4.1 on a AIX 4.1.5 platform.
The command ovstart netmon returns
netmon
OVs_WELL_BEHAVED
NOT_RUNNING
17078
exit(255)
All of the ovstart commands are very slow to execute, can anyone tell me
what is happening.
