A dynamic workspace can only be saved from the GUI using the file option.
That is because what is displayed there is not in a file but in a complex
series of pointers to real memory owned by that events process. There is
no external interface which could be used by cron.

If you want events history, then use Events History.

        Hi,
Does any body know how can I save automatically a dynamic work
space? I
´d like to launch daily a script from the cron saving a dynamic
workspace with interesting events.
Another question: Is it possible to filter the trapd.log file
with a rule set in order to obtain a history workspace?

Thanks . . .
