Steve, can you tell us if there is a target date for Bay supporting TME10
NV v5.1 under either Optivity v8.1, v 8.1.1 or will Bay wait for v9.0?

Could you also tell us if AIX 4.2.1 is officially supported by Bay? The 8.1
doc only lists support for AIX 4.2.

I would like to upgrade to AIX 4.2.1 and NV v5.1 in November if possible
and have Bay's support.

Hello,
Just to clarify, though Optivity 8.1 may indeed be functional with NV 5.1,
the last tested version, and therefore the SUPPORTED version of NV is 5.0.
This does not mean that the NorTel Networks TSC will not attempt to support
a 5.1 configuration, it merely means that if a bug is detected, it must be
reproduceable on version 5.0 of NV, Optivity 8.1 in order for engineering
to accept it as Change Request.
