David,

Will Optivity 9.0 for Solaris work with Netview on Solaris?

Ken,

GA (or what we call First Customer Ship [FCS]) of Optivity NMS 9.0 for
Solaris and NT is currently scheduled for around 1/31/99. Optivity NMS 9.0
for AIX and HP-UX is scheduled for April '99.

I have heard rumors from within Tivoli that support for NV 4.1 may be
extended, but I would not plan on it until an official Tivoli spokesperson
confirms or denies the rumor.
