Re: how to block node-up/down traps?

Unmanaging devices hasn't worked for me. I am using NV4.1 and the node
up/down traps are still occurring. I have even deleted the non-critical,
unmanaged objects from all submaps and they return as managed. Is there
something I am missing?

        Pehaps the simplest solution would be to simply unmanage the end
user
        workstations and then netmon doesn't even check to see whether they
are
        up or down. You may also add entries in the oid_to_type file to
        automatically discover devices unmanaged.
