Any ruleset which worked in NetView 4.1.2 should woprk in NetView 5.1.
I don't understand what is broken. Have you called Support locally? Have
you tried tracing your ruleset to see what happens when it runs (issue
nvcdebug -d all and look in the nvcorrd.alog)?

Subject: Ruleset problem
Hi,
we have a problem while creating a ruleset:
on Netview V4.1.2 we would create a ruleset with the condition "node down"
and object field "isXXX" is set,
then an action like an email shall be created.
The "query database field"-template doesn't work correctly? We need a
workaround to do this.
