Hi James,
Right, my submap is a submap of IP Internet. But I think I
have found the reason of the non updating status.
It seems that when you add a connection using the function
"add a connection", the default status source of the created object is
"Object" instead of "Compound
propagated".
Thanks

Is you map a submap of
the IP Internet map or not?
If you create an entirely separate map
structure then the ipmap program which runs under ovw will not update
your status. He starts at the IP Internet symbol and works
downward.
I hope this is clear.

MAP
Hi everybody,
I have builded a sub-map
containing all the critical objets I want to supervise. But i got a
problem copying a link between two routers. The state of the WAN link
seems not to be propagate in this submap.. I can see the change of the
status in the IP MAP Internet but not in this submap.. I know it's
possible to define a percentage to propagate the status from one map to
the next one.. Mine is 4 %.
I am using Netview V5.0 on AIX
4.2.1.
Any idea about this problem ?
