Did you cut&paste the copied trap(s) with the mouse? In this case the
long lines of the description may be terminated by linefeeds. Normally
they should have only one linefeed at the end of the description. I also
edited the trapd.conf during migration because of some descriptions
beeing longer then 99 words (Cisco-Traps), but everything worked fine.
You should check very carefully the {}'s and ""'s etc.
