Your systems limits are too restrictive. Try issuing the ulimit command
before starting the GUI.
In particular, issue
ulimit -d unlimited
ulimit -s unlimited
It was recommended in the Release Notes that you set all the ulimit values
to unlimited in /etc/rc.nfs

Subject: ipmap not running
When I start the user interface I am not getting an ip map. After checking
the nv6000.log file I am getting a not enough space error from ipmap. I
was using a seed file with ranges of addresses, but I switched back to no
seed file and turned on discov er new nodes to see if this would help. My
devices are being discovered and show up in the topology database.
Any ideas....
Thanks
