In fact it is already removed. NetView V5 does not offer a SMIT option
from Administer because of the other platforms. So this only remains in
Version 4, which is out of support.

the msmit load problem occures in aix 421 . it is a bug no msmit should
be
their in the first place.to be there. It should not work, and is not
applicable to Solaris
Digital. On AIX it can fail because smit on aix 4.3.1 uses
X11R5.
NetView requires X11R5. Thus invoking smit from within NetView
provides the wrong library path for X for smit.

If I apar it, the fix will be for the menu item to be removed.
