I have noticed that the Tivoli environment does not know the value of even $HOME. Even when just starting the map via the Tivoli context menu, I have to fully specify the file to be sourced (that is /u/<user>/.kshrc, vs just $HOME/.kshrc). So I have taken to setting the value of $HOME in the .kshrc, so it is available for things in Netview that need it - like loading workspaces which are kept someplace like $HOME/NvEnvironment/Workspaces, and other things.
