Hello, We are currently running NV V4.1 on AIX V4.2.1. We have several Sun servers that have multiple nics, each on a different IP subnet and each with a unique name in dns. My question is how to get NetView to generate unique names in NetView's trapd.log netmon for a multi-homed host that has 3 unique names in dns. We want to be able to identify which interface has executed a status change by the netmon event, not requiring further action to identify. Thanks, Mark > Mark Foster > IT Specialist - Network Design > Hershey Foods Corporation > 717-534-4936 > |
