I am getting many "Session between manager node <mlm_node> and agent node <managed_node> is down." traps, but my MLM and the managed agent are both running ok. Node down and node up occur within 1 minutes. Only one agent has this problem. >From /var/adm/smv2/log/midmand.log, I have the following errors: 916960417: 01/21/99 15:13:37 Received trap 6(1) from xxx.xxx.xxx.141 916960417: 01/21/99 15:13:37 No filter rule was matched: default action = FORWARDED 916960417: 01/21/99 15:13:37 ERROR: Threshold cpu_SM: Session to node: dragon.bcbso.com is currently down. The background of environment is: Netview v5.0 on AIX 4.2.1, MLM on Solaris 2.5.1, SIA agent on Solaris 2.6 (sun_V2_sia.config) Could this be a timing issue between MLM and the agent? How do I fix this problem? Thanks in advance. Phat Doan |
