I am collecting data from 5000 hubs.
I have 5000BH hubs with MCP ver 3.1.1
In my case they are centillion 100 switches in 5000 chassis.
If you have similar devices, I would recommend to use centillion
mibs rather then synoptics ( the one that you are using ).
Synoptics mibs will gather "chassis" related information.
What you need is "host module" related information - which is actually
switched card.
I am using centillion private mibs for that
OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.930
Hope it helps.
Thanks

Subject: resend: Question on MIB data collection

Hi all.
I am sending this letter as I saw no mention of my previous message on this
subject, if you did receive my previous one I apologize.
I am trying to collect MIB data for bay 5000 hubs on Netview 5.1/NT
the variables are of the type 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.6.6.2.1.1.4.802001 -
1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.6.6.2.1.1.4.802012 (broadcast packets for the 12 hub
backplanes)
I tried pointing to the OID (found in mib browser) as instances 80200[1-9]
for example, also as instances 802001|802002|802003|802004 ...
both cases fail to collect or collect the whole table containing hundreds of
instances.

Any advise on how to get this collection to work will be most welcome.
Please also reply to my own mail address.

        Thanks
