Omer, If you have NetView for NT V5.1, you can use the mib2trap utility, it will generate a file that can be used to add traps to NetView. Cheers, Richard -----Original Message----- From: Ben-Shalom, Omer [mailto:omer.ben-shalom@INTEL.COM] Sent: Sunday, February 28, 1999 7:28 AM To: NV-L@UCSBVM.UCSB.EDU Subject: getting Gandalf traps defined in MIB to trapd.conf I have a MIB file from Gandlalf for RAC 3.4.5 At the end there is a definition for the traps the host can send. How can I translate the MIB format to the trapd.conf format ? is there some generic program to extract the trap definition from MIB files.
