I sent a note to Jane and the issue has been raised with development.
We have not yet gotten a meaningful response, but they're looking at
it. The IBM hardware code developers, in France, are also looking at
it.

The second part of the message, about removing the subnet, is not one
I've seen specifically related to ATM, but would suggest that the SMIT
or Framework options for resolving database inconsistencies and
compressing the topology and object databases might be run to try to fix
an orphan.

And for further clarification about Leslie's customer going out to get a
media blade for his hub- He has a DMM hardwired to his controller, so
the CPSW will not assume mastership of the chassis. His options are
either to replace the controller with one without an ADMM or get a lan
media port if he wants to manage the chassis. This is not related to
the polling issue raised by Jane.

(Leslie- did you get two copies of this- one to the Forum, one to your
IBM ID?)
