You cannot run events history with rulesets.

But you could build an snmptrap command which dupliactes the contents of
the traps which were missed and re-issue those traps. They could then be
processed the ruleset as current data.

Subject: trapd.log events

Hi, I've got a huge problem.....I have a ruleset that sends all framerelay
traps to a log file for a specific router(to be later interpreted in
Excel). Sometime on the 20th of April, the router started showing up as
'read-rfc1918-for-details.iana.net' ?!?!? Still working on the 'why', but
on the 25th, it went back to normal ..... the problem is, of course, these
traps didn't get processed by the ruleset for 5 days. In trapd.log the
traps exist, but cover 3 lines with the information(pretty much excluding
my limited scripting skills). How can I run an event history desk to show
the events again, to run them thru the ruleset?
Thanks
Howard Allison
