I have some personal experiences that I will share.

The MLM is still of limited benefit in a large environment because of
the overhead on the server to run it. To distribute collections to the
MLM, you need to define a collection. THe more and larger collections
you have, the greater a performance hit you take on your server.

If you have the processing power, you now have to be concerned with how
to define your collections to assign to your MLM's Granted I am coming
from a very large environment. You have to have IP addressing and or
naming standards that are rock solid so you can define collections if
you intend to do so geographically. If not, you at least have to deploy
them so that a collection can populate each MLM.

Other than those gotchas, the MLM has worked fine.

Good luck!
