Don't run CW2K on AIX 4.3.2 until Cisco comes out with a Java fix for the
AIX JRE. We have a 4 CPU and 1.5 GB RAM F50 and within several minutes of
starting CWSI the box goes to 99.6% busy!! The Cisco fix should be available
soon. IBM has available now a patch to their JRE 1.1.6 (?) which must also
be installed.

Hello All.

I currently have AIX 4.3.2 and Netview V5.1.

We are currently exploring using CicoWorks2000. Now, I know very little
about this tool, but here is what I understand...

CiscoWorks2000 has two components: Resource Manager Essentials and CWSI
Campus (I think this is CiscoView ??)

Here are my questions for anyone who can provide insight...

Are both of these products integrable with Netview?

Do both components require each other to install?

Has anyone using these tools presently and of how much value have you found
them?

Is there are overview of these products anywhere, from the basics up??

Any info appreciated.

Sincerely,

Gord Michaels
