Take a look at the ovwchmod and ovwperms commands , ovwperms -l shows you
the access-permissions for the maps and ovwchmod can be used to alter these
permissions .
In my case the output of the "ovwperms -l" looks like this :
ovwperms -l
-rwxr-xr-x root system default
So only root user can open the default map in R/W , all the other users will
get the map in R/O , even if they start the GUI without the -ro option .
vriendelijke groeten / bien cordialement

Hello All. I have an interesting issue... I have 6 Netview 5.1.1 cleints and one Netview 5.1.1 server. Up until this point I was under the impression that the first Netview user
All of my Netview Clients are forced to log in using the -ro option.
Shoudn't I have got the readWrite as the operator on the server??
Can anyone explain how this is suppose to work??
Any help appreciated. Gord. ______________________________________________________
