Well, I have not done raw MLM in a really long time, but I think the
big difference would be that the APM gives you a graphical
representation of the variable being thresholded, so the node
changes color when it has been exceeded. Also, I don't think
raw MLM will dynamically distribute a policy to new nodes that
join a Collection for which the policy is targeted.  I used  to set
up thresholds first in MLM, where I could see the gory details, then
change it to APM, but APM seems to be a lot more stable these
days and now I set it up directly in APM.

That said, I would think you would still be able to configure each
MLM right from the Netview server using smconfig, rather than
log into each MLM.

Running Netview 5.1.1 and Framework 3.2

Is there any difference between adding Filter
Tables(and Threshold & Collection Tables) from the APM
rather than the MLM?

Aside from having to login to each MLM opposed to
doing a distribute from APM.
