Good afternoon List
Sorry for the off-topic mail - but it's a Tivoli product at least ! :-)
I'm looking into the Maestro scheduler, with a view to using it in a large
Enterprise scheduling project. I believe it is fundamentally unix-based,
accessed thru X-Windows, and that therefore performance over a WAN may well
be an issue (please correct me if I'm wrong !). It has been suggested to
me that there are various other ways of accessing the Maestro Master over
the WAN - ie thin client access, PC clients, maybe WWW clients, etc... and
specifically a product called 'VNC'. Does anyone have any experience of
these or any other PC-based Maestro front end solutions? What are the
issues ? All comments gratefully received -
TIA
Kind Regards.
