Sending events to TEC is independent of you console. They are sent there in
addition to whatever you see, not instead of.

If you want to see what TEC is getting, go to the TEC console and do wtdumprl.
If you don't see anything there, go back to NetView and see if you have an
/etc/Tivoli/tec/cache file. If you do, then your NetView is having difficulty
talking to TEC.

Is there some trick to get the events sent to TEC using a rule set?
I configure event forwarding through the my tivoli desktop, netview server
icon. I give it the name of my event server and tell it to use the
sample Nodeup,Nodedown ruleset, but it still sends everthing to my console
????

Thank You
