Karin,

Having created the CSV file, how do you automate the import into RME? I am only
aware of the GUI method of initiating the import. Is there a cmd line method
for doing the import?

Jean-Noel,

According to the documentation, CW2K does not support a direct import fro=
m
NetView.
It does support an import from a text file. I wrote a script that querie=
s
our NetView database for
the pertinents about Cisco devices, and outputs the data to CSV file the =
way
CW2K wants to see it.
Password information can also be added for import.

Not as out-of-the-box as the pull-down menu for OpenView import, but it
gives you the flexibility to set up
a cron job to keep them in sync.

Kari
