Along the same lines, xnmsnmpconf the only place where SNMP configuration
polling settings are set? Some of my networking switch folks are telling me
the Xylan switch is getting pounded every 20 minutes by SNMP queries.
They ran a sniffer to determine the source and type of traffic.

I cannot find a 20 minute polling interval in xnmsnmpconf. Is there
somewhere else I should be looking?

Yes, type in xnmsnmpconf from the command line or pull down Options ... SNMP
Configuration from the GUI and you can change the polling interval for any
interface you like. You can also set options by using IP address ranges
(called wildcards) and by collection. Use the Help for more information

(diffrent than the rest of the network)?
Netview 5.0 & AIX 4.2

Thanks!
