I have customer with f50 2 processors, 1gig nv511 .
There are 30000 objects in the data base .
There are Netview applications like: Ciscoworks , Optivity ,
Nways with UDB and NBBS.
Customer has 5 users accessing AIX via ReflectionX.
He expects to add another 15 web browsers users.
This customer suffers from intermittent performance problem .
For instance , synchronization process at nv gui startup may take
sometimes up to 30 minutes and some times 2 minutes.
sometimes to open submap will take 2 minutes and sometime a second.
We would like to offer this customer to off-load all nv user activity
from the netview server to a aix netview client.
I thought of having the server nfs export the OV database to client aix
machine. Have the 5 users access the aix nv client with ReflectionX
and monitor NV. Also have the web browsers users access the AIX nv
clients .
My questions are :
1. Will Ciscoworks , Optivity , Nways and NBBS will work on the
    nv client ?
2. If the above application do work on nv client will I gain
   significant performance improvement ?
3. Can web browser access nv client ?
4. Do you see MLM as an option for such configuration ?
5. Any other ideas are very welcome .
Thanks Dror
