I would configure the nv.carriers file and try paging that way ( nvpage
2345678@<Carriername> " message..." )...

Subject: HELP! Paging Problems With Netview v5.1

Has anyone seen a problem with getting the paging software to work? I am
trying to test the paging capabilities of Netview v5.1 running Solaris 2.6
on an ultra 10 machine but I can't get the nvpage program to work. I have
successfully used the 'cu -d -lttya -s1200 -e <number>' command to connect
to another unix box but when I execute the 'nvpage <number> <message>'
command my modem never goes off hook or dials the pager number. I do get
the
message that the job was queued, though. Below is the output of the log
files. Does anyone have an idea what these messages mean? Any help would
be
greatly appreciated.
