If I understand what you're adsking, you are saying that when you stop and
restart the netview deamons, you get a message stating that some deamons may
not have started?

If so, it could be that when ovspmd (the "master" daemon) tried to start the
deamon, it timed out.  The ovstart command sends a request to ovspmd to start
the specified deamon.  It starts it and, if it is defined as an
"OVs_WELL_BEHAVED", it will wait for it to send back a message that it has
initialized.  If the message is not recieved before the "timeout" is reached,
you'll get this message, even if the daemon is started.

Did you change the lrf file for any of the daemons?  (they are in
/usr/OV/lrf)

The last field in those files is a timeout value (in seconds).  See the man
page for lrf for details.
