Got it to work --- Writing a Rule to forward PatrolView Alarm data via Netview to TEC

While I still wouldn't mind knowing how to do this using a Trap Setting, I
did resolve the problem by using an Event Attributes block and setting it to
BMC Software and Value=Agent in the Ruleset Editor.

Just an FYI for anyone else who might come across this.
