Hi,
this file does not exist on the AIX box. You have to create a new file with
that name and insert the command string

Betreff: Tivoli NetView Web integration with CiscoWorks2000

Hello All.

I am running Netview 5.1.1, AIX 4.3, CiscoWorks2000. I have found this
document with instructions on how to integarte Netview with the
CiscoWorks2000 Web... BUT, I cannot locate the file
diag_CW2k_DeviceCenter.txt anywhere.

Has anyone done this before???

Sincerly,

Gord Michaels.

See Doc. below.....

Tivoli NetView and Cisco Web Integration

Tivoli NetView (all versions) Web integration with CiscoWorks2000

These modifications allow the user to launch CiscoWorks2000 from the Tivoli
NetView Console.

Diagnostic Tool Integration

1. Edit the file diag_CW2k_DeviceCenter.txt by specifying the name of the
Essentials server. If you look closely at the file, you will see that it is
pointing to 'ESSENTIALSSERVER' in the URL path. You will need to edit the
file by replacing 'ESSENTIALSSERVER' with the correct server name, where
Essentials is running in your network.
The file currently reads:
CiscoWorks2000 device center enables integration between the diagnostic
tools section of Tivoli NetView and the Device Center of CiscoWorks2000.
Replace ESSENTIALSSERVER in the path below with the server name or IP
address of the CiscoWorks2000 server you want to link to.
TRUE
32:32:devicecenter:CiscoWorks2000 Device Center:http:// ESSENTIALSSERVER
/cgi-bin/common/perl/launchPad/deviceCenter.pl?csUser=autoLogin&DeviceName=
%IP Hostname%:_top

2. Place the file name: diag_CW2k_DeviceCenter into
/usr/OV/web/httpd/registration/Diagnostics

3. Place the three diag*.gif files into
/usr/OV/web/httpd/hdocs/TME10/NetView/images/icons.

Navigation Bar Integration

1. Edit the file toc_CW2k_Login.txt by specifying the name of the
Essentials server. If you look closely at the file, you will see that it is
pointing to 'ESSENTIALSSERVER' in the path of the URL. You will need to
edit the file by replacing 'ESSENTIALSSERVER' with the correct server name
where Essentials is running in your network.

For example, the file currently reads:
CiscoWorks2000 enables link to Login Page from NetView Navigation Bar.
Replace ESSENTIALSSERVER in the path below with the server name or IP
address of the CiscoWorks2000 server you want to link to.
32:32:CiscoWorks2000:CiscoWorks2000:http://ESSENTIALSSERVER:top

2. Place the file name: toc_CW2k_Login.txt into
/usr/OV/web/httpd/registration/NavBar

3. Place the three toc*.gif files into
/usr/OV/web/httpd/hdocs/TME10/NetView/images/icons.
