You must send your subscritpion request to listserv@ucsbvm.ucsb.edu not to
NV-L
and the correct syntax is
subscribe NV-L <your first name> <your last name>
You will get a response asking for a reply of "OK" and after you send that, you
will get a confirmation note.
Save that. It has information about how to use the list.
When you have an item to post you send that to NV-L.
