I remember seeing the same problem on a NetView V4 system that was also
running IBM's Hub Manager application which I think is part of the Nways
Campus Manager LAN product. The Rnvch process is part of the MAT,
Management Application Transporter subsystem. Every user that starts up an
ovw map process, will also have an Rnvch process running. I think we
noticed the high CPU problem most often when the user's ovw process was not
shut down cleanly, then the Rnvch process would be "orphaned" and starting
consuming lots of CPU cycles.
There was an APAR (IX58741, I think), so make sure that you're current on
maintenance.

Does anybody know what the process 'Rnvch' is? It's eating up a lot
of a
processor, as can be seen below. I am running 4.1 on AIX.
