When setting up NetView with MLMs, is it a good idea to:
1) Use the default port # for traps going to the MLMs and
2) Reconfigure trapd to listen on a non-default port #?
Also, in an environment with multiple MLMs, where should the trap
destination on the agents point to? The 'main' MLM for that subnet, or
all the possible MLMs which might possibly 'manage' that host? Also,
does the NetView server itself need to be in the list (presumably not)?
Any advice from someone who has set this up 'for real' would be
appreciated? Thanks.
