See the man page on ovobjprint to print the object database. You can also print
out the topology database with ovtopodump (-lr ). But there are no options to
print subsets. You can print all of them, or selected entries by selection name
(usually host name) or object id, but that is all. You will have to write your
own tool (script) to extract what individual nodes you want. You would have to
identify all the objects on that subnet and call ovobjprint -s <selection_name>
in turn for each one of them. One way might be to build a Collection of what
you want and then use nvUtil with the l option to list the members.

Subject: Copy or print object information...
Hi all,
how can I printout or copy a summary of object information from a subnet or
collection of
devices (switches).
For example:
I have one subnet. In this subnet there are 20 switches and I need from all
the same information
like IP-Address, Software-Rev. and location.
If I use the Netview desktop tools Menue-Systeminformation (greated by MIB
application builder snmp) I receive
every node a separate windows with requested information.
My gole is to create a task with a summery of all object information an to
move or copy this object information to a ascii file or printer.
How can I do this? Is there a way to do this?
Can anybody help?
Mit freundlichen Gr
üßen / Yours Sincerely
