Sorry, Stephan. I don't know what you are asking.
You can define any source character you like. Then you can provide your people
with a list of what they mean. Or were you asking how to update the man page
for trapd.conf? If not, what are you trying to update?

Subject: [NV-L] Netview Source IDs
Hi Netview gurus,
perhaps somebody can tell me if its possible to define additional source
IDs apart from the standard ones (like a=application, A=Agent etc.). I
know that I can put any character in the Event Configuration of an
event. But I couldn't find the place where I can reference that
character to
descriptions like the mentioned ones ???
Many thanks in advance___Stephan
