Re:permanently Message "System Name Changed"
That's just the configuration polling that goes on when netmon is
It updates a couple of fields in the object database, including the
field, which it gets from system.sysname on the device. It does not really
that it has changed, just that you are up to date in case it has. You may
references to Contact and Location, which it also retrieves from the system

Subject: [NV-L] permanently Message "System Name Changed"
When we start Netview we permanently get the message "System Name Changed"
for all routers in our network, but the names haven't changed.
What is the reason for this behavior? Can anybody give us some information
to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.
