Hi Steyland,
To switch to a new IP adress go through the following prozedure:
Configure TCP/IP and hostname information
Run /usr/OV/services/reset_ci
Run xnmsnmpconf -clearCache
Run mapadmin -u
Check next under Options ... SNMP Configuration for valid host names
Review /etc/snmpd, filesystems, hosts and profile files
and last: recycle the snmpd deamon (refresh -s snmpd)
